YOKOHAMA-SXIP International Education program

YOKOHAMA International Education Program for Leading Sustainability Transformation towards a Resilient Society with Industry-Government-Academia Network (YOKOHAMA-SXIP headed by Assoc. Prof. Kazuho Nakamura) sends YNU students to the following partner universities every fiscal year as the international education program.

  • Anna University, in India
  • Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, in India
  • Panjab University, in India
  • Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), in India
  • Griffith University, in Australia
  • The University of Newcastle, in Australia

In the fiscal year 2023, a total of 9 YNU Master Course students and undergraduate students were sent to the SXIP partner universities (IIT Kanpur, Panjab Univ., and Univ. of Newcastle) from August to September, and 8 YNU students were sent to SXIP partner universities (Anna Univ. and VIT) in December. Moreover, 2 YNU undergraduate students are going to be sent to Griffith Univ. in March 2024.

In the fiscal year 2022, a total of 9 YNU Master Course students and undergraduate students were sent to the SXIP partner universities (IIT Kanpur, Panjab Univ., Vellore Institute of Technology, Griffith Univ., and Univ. of Newcastle) from February to March.
